Default DVB-T EPG grab to XMLTV

Hi folks,

I'd like to grab the DVB-T EPG from my Nova-T PCI to an XMLTV-file. Is this possible?

Regards

I dont think the Nova DVB-Ts can grab epg data ota. If I am wrong then someone please tell me because I am manually doing xmltvs every week and transfering them

Certainly I dont think there is a way to output the epg data that a nova dvb into xmltv...

3 Nova-T PCI cards here and they grab EPG data fine. This is for UK Freeview DVB-T services.

You won't like my answer... I did nothing at all bar set the cards up. In TV 0.2 I used the checkbox marked 'Grab EPG from DVB', and in TV Server 3 I made sure every channel I wanted EPG for was checked.

I've installed/reinstalled many Mediaportal setups with these cards, across both XP and Server 2003, and this has never been an issue.

I'd go get the latest Hauppauge drivers, reinstall and have another go.

If you can deal with the problem of mixing the output from each transponder, here

http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/thread/154209.aspx

you will find a little command line utility that does just this, grabs a transponder and writes all EPG's found to aXMLTV file

You're welcome...
