Country: | I have mainly been using http://minnie.tuhs.org/xmltv/channels.xml.gz which provides lots of channels and good data for almost 7 days (and no advertising) but I have problems with gaps in the HD channels. I tried using the epgstream url and it fixed the problem with gaps but it only seems to be good for about 2 days worth of programs. Sometimes it will miss a whole day but then has data for the following day. Has anyone got it working reliably for more than a couple of days worth? |

Country: | I tried the http://minnie.tuhs.org/xmltv/channels.xml.gz and could get a channel list but it wouldnt download the data once I assigned everything. Im using the epg.net (with correct ID) url but it seems to be patchy for Ch10, 7 and 9. It did work but now it doesnt work so well. Any ideas? |

Country: | I tried the url - http://tvguide.oztivo.net/xmlguide.pl with username and password and it wont download anything and therefore wont display channel listings so I cant assign mediaportal channels to them. As for the http://minnie.tuhs.org/xmltv/channels.xml.gz url , I can get all the channels from that url and I assigned mediaportal channels to them. However epg downloader attempts to download associated data for each channel but its 0 for all assigned channels. The only thing that works is the epg.net url and that is not perfect. Tonight there was abc data , now there is not. I have a slightly older version of epg downloader but looking at what improvements there has been for the latest version I should be OK. |

Country: | When using "http://minnie.tuhs.org/xmltv/channels.xml.gz", make sure you have a username and password setup at oztivo.net. Template should be: !!!Base-Url!!!!!!ChannelID!!!_!!!DateString!!!.xml.gz Also make sure you check "Data is Zipped" and type is complex. |

Country: | I have installed and think I got everything running, but nothing when I bring up the EPG in MP. I run TV Server RC3. I did the installation, yes next… nothing complicated. Server Name: myservername User/pass: epg (lack of imagination I guess) Database Name: TvLibrary Database type is MSSQL 2005 Express Test logon and got “Connection to… Successful!” I also tried to logon to SQLE using epg/epg and that went well, so my guess is that I’m good thus far? In EPG I added this: URL: http://tv.swedb.se/xmltv/channels.xml.gz Data Is Zipped: Checked Type: Complex Program URL Template: !!!Base-Url!!!!!!ChannelID!!!_!!!DateString!!!.xml.gz I hit reset and some channels popped up, I hit reload next to MP Channels, then mapped some channels names and added them to MediaPortal Name. So now it looks like this (one of all my channels, I am on ComHem in Sweden) Source Channel ID Channel Name MediaPortal Name Fill Gaps from (what is this?) 1 axess.se Axess TV Axess TV Schedule I just changed from Midnight to 04:00 and Save, then after reload hit Download Now. It starts a download of lots of files (I have snipped out some stuff, it all looks great...) Download Started 2008-10-20 20:39:40 Fetched from: http://xmltv.tvsajten.com/xmltv/axes...8-10-20.xml.gz Fetched from: http://xmltv.tvsajten.com/xmltv/axes...8-10-21.xml.gz Downloaded Channel: Axess TV, 168 programmes found EPG Download Successfull! EPG Download Complete - Total 4377 program entires downloaded 2008-10-20 20:56:54 - Next Scheduled Download = 2008-10-21 04:00:00 So everything looks all great, but still nothing when I bring up the EPG in MP. In this thread there are some info about RC1 and database name, I checked mine and also have an MpTvDbRC2 database so I tried to switching to that one, still nothing - so my guess is that RC3 is back to the TvLibrary database? I have read trough the setup.pdf and this thread, and no info about this anywhere to be found. Soo… what do I do now? |
