Question TVxb

Hi JorisFRST,

Thanks to your file and a good guide of TVxb, I managed to install and grab the guide in less than 1 hour.

Does anybody have an idea to put the 'description' and 'genre' information in the tvguide.xml file?

Could it be something like

----------
[Ketnet.nl]
name=Ketnet
icon=http://www.humo.be/epg/gfx/logos/ketnet.gif
url=http://www.humo.be/cps/rde/xchg/humo/hs.xsl/epg_zender.html?channel=Ketnet&dag=[day=mm/dd/yyyy]
special=ignoreallformatting
start=2 ! possible alternative start-time = 3
title=4
genre=5 ! WHERE 5 is the cell
description=8 'WHERE 8 is the description of the program.

WEBPAGE Humo.be

<td class='tvnucontent' valign='top' rowspan=2>&nbsp;</td>
<td class='tvnucontent' valign='top'>22.40</td>
<td class='tvnucontent' valign='top'>23.10</td>
<td class='tvnucontent' width= '100%' valign='top'>

</td>
<td class='tvnuthema' align=right valign='top' nowrap>&nbsp;actua</td>
</tr>
<tr>

<td valign='top' class=programmabeschrijving>&nbsp;</td>
<td width= '100%' valign='top' colspan=2 class=programmabeschrijving>Politiek duidingsmagazine.
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class='tvnucontent' valign='top' rowspan=2>&nbsp;</td>
<td class='tvnucontent' valign='top'>23.10</td>
<td class='tvnucontent' valign='top'>23.40</td>
<td class='tvnucontent humo_selectie' width= '100%' valign='top'>

</td>
<td class='tvnuthema' align=right valign='top' nowrap>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
--------------------

Could this work?
Does anybody help me out? Have information?

Thanks in advance

Default My files

Hi Belgian MP'ers,

Here you have my files (tvxb) and the channellist (you can import it in mp).
Haven't had a lot of time to dubbelcheck all but could be good files to start with.

Don't forget to put the correct channel mhz in. You can find them in the www.zenders.be

Would love to see some more post of other tvxb to see if i use tvxb the correct way.

Cheerio

Hi,

I tested it and it works very fine !
Only one thing : it doesn't grab al the information of VTM and VT4.
Is that because of an error on the Humo site, or is it somewhere in the TVxb setup ?

VERY NICE WORK !

Dirkw,

I checked the Humo site (TV-gids | Humo: The Wild Site). It looks like the information is split in 2 different htmlpages for VTM and VT4.... of all the other channels there is only 1 htmlpage...

Do you have the tvguideinformation of the beginning of the day?

I think you have to change the link in the tvxb file from
url=http://www.humo.be/cps/rde/xchg/humo/hs.xsl/epg_zender.html?channel=VTM&dag=[day=mm/dd/yyyy]
=> url=http://www.humo.be/cps/rde/xchg/humo/hs.xsl/epg_zender.html?move=full&channel=VTM&dag=[day=mm/dd/yyyy]

Can you have a try and report back?

Thx
Tv

Hi Fake9,

IT WORKS NOW, after a total restart (server, PC, new grab, ...): VTM as well as VT4 no more problems.
Many thanks for the tip.

Thx

dirkw, maybe you should mail your configuration to the author of tvxb? I think a lot of users would appreciate that.
