Epg & Imdb

Hello there,

First of all: what a very stable and good program Mediaportal is!

I am using MP 1.0 RC1 + svn adn watching TV via DBV-T. I use the guide which is sent in the signal. Since DBV-T has little bandwidth the program info is short, if not absent.
I was wondering if it is possible that when I am browsing the EPG and I see a movie that I can select to connect to IMDB as is in the movie part of MP?

I am not a programmer but this would be a fine feature I think and not too hard to program since the code has already been written.

I hope to hear soon about this idea.

I agree fully; this would be very useful. Even an IMDB search where one can type the name would be great.
But since MP1 is in a feature freeze, this has got to be a standalone plugin.

Hmmm i know that MP1 has a feature freeze and got to be a stand alone plugin!
