| I have what looks like a correctly populated webepg created TVGuide.xml that includes EPG data from the radiotimes grabber for around 40 FTA DVB-S channels. Now...all channels populate correctly in the actual EPG when running MediaPortal with the exception of "BBC 1 East (E)". Here's the relevant content from TVGuide.xml : Code: ...
<channel id="BBC 1 East (E)-bbc1ea@bbc.co.uk">
<display-name>BBC 1 East (E)</display-name>
</channel>
...
<programme start="20080620110000" stop="20080620113000" channel="BBC 1 East (E)-bbc1ea@bbc.co.uk">
<title>To Buy or Not to Buy</title>
<sub-title>Worcester</sub-title>
<desc>Series that gives buyers the chance to test-drive a property before buying it. Host Simon O'Brien heads to Hereford and Worcester in search of a quirky new home for a mother and daughter.</desc>
<category>Interests</category>
</programme>
...
...so it looks like the programme data is there, present and correct. When looking at the xmltv plugin, everything looks (to my eyes) to be correct too: ![]() However, after doing a "Force import" and launching Mediaportal, the EPG entry for "BBC 1 East (E)" is always empty: ![]() ...that's despite the fact that, after the import, the xmltv plugin reports that 39 channels were imported i.e. all the channels for which I grab data: ![]() I've checked the "TV Epg Grabber" and I have "Store data only for selected channels" checked, but with no channels checked - which also seems to be correct: ![]() ![]() I've also tried repeated updates of the TVGuide.xml and re-imports - all the other channels seem to have data in the EPG (at least the ones I do grab for) but not "BBC 1 East (E)" despite what looks like valid content in the TVGuide.xml. Any ideas? Are there any logs relating to the actual import from the TVGuide.xml into the Mediaportal EPG? I'm using RC1.0 "as is" with just the updated webepg-conf.exe that supports the direct import of the channels from the TVServer. Last edited by c128; 2008-06-20 at 15:23. |

Country: | Have you double checked that the data are well formed with an external tool like zGuideTV ? Do you have any other channel with a name containing parenthesis : "(E)" ? It could maybe cause your issue... Last edited by vinch100; 2008-06-20 at 16:08. |
