Too many channels in EPG screen..

It should be an option to change the number of channels on the EPG, or set it to 6 channels max.

A finger-rule, is to hold your fist against the TV. And when the fist is covering the whole screen, the viewing distance is perfect.

Even then, when the EPG is showing 10-11 chans or what it is.. its very hard to read the data.
The size of the EPG fonts and number of channels is perfect on MCE2005.

Just my POV.

Edit: And another thing, when you only have 3 channels, the EPG should really not repeat those channels all the way down the page...

I also find that on my crt tv it would be better if there were less channels on the tv guide. I had one with about 6 lines for version 0.2.1.0 but have now updated to 0.2.2.0 and believe the xml's are different.

Has anyone had a go at creating a modified widescreen tv guide with less channels for 0.2.2.0?

Tried that one thanks. It was for a 4:3 ratio.

Decided to try the one I had been using on 0.2.1.0 and it works fine.
7 lines of epg and in wide screen.
