TvXB and TVGids.nl - anyone else having problems?

I suddenly experience problems with TVxb and TVGids.nl.

Downloaded html files are empty. The website itself does not look like it has changed.

I hope they do not recognize and choose to nt supply proper information towards the TVxb client...

I saw other sites offering xmltv files for mediaportal use having the same days failing as I had, so I guess its not something locally here.

However, I took some time to configure things with WebEPG (never looked into it before as I had a working solution) and I have to say: Kudos Guys!

Thats a very nifty and easy to use application. Much easier from now on to configure old & new channels.

And it also downloaded the files without problems, so I'm happy.

Solved!!!!!

I had the same problems also. I digged into the logfiles, and starting "wget" manually resulted indeed in failure.
When i requested the same page in a browser the page loaded without any problems.

Wget doesn't get served and IE has no problems. After 3 hours of trying i came up with the following solution which works !

Add the following in the top part of your ini file(s).

wgetarguments=-E -t 5 -U, --user-agent=AGENT

I'll save this one for the future if the tvgids.nl team decides they will block the WebEPG.exe file as well.
