Country: | Hello, Listers! Does MP 0.2.3 support any of the extra data that XMLTV gets from IMDB? I was able to merge my tvguide.xml file with IMDB database - if I look at the result, I can see the extra data, ie directors, actors, ratings ,etc. When i import the tv guide, it does not show up. Do I need to do something else? I'm using XMLTV 0.5.51 Thanks for your help! Here is a snip of the .xml file the the 'extra' stuff. </programme> <programme start="20080223060000 +0000" stop="20080223080000 +0000" channel="I18332.labs.zap2it.com"> <title lang="en">Casino Royale</title> <desc lang="en">Sir James Bond (David Niven) leaves retirement to confuse SMERSH with several other secret agents, all posing as James Bond.</desc> <credits> <director>Val Guest</director> <director>Ken Hughes</director> <director>John Huston</director> <actor>Peter Sellers</actor> <actor>Ursula Andress</actor> <actor>David Niven</actor> <actor>Orson Welles</actor> <actor>Joanna Pettet</actor> <actor>Woody Allen</actor> <actor>Deborah Kerr</actor> <actor>William Holden</actor> <actor>Charles Boyer</actor> <actor>John Huston</actor> <actor>George Raft</actor> <actor>Jean-Paul Belmondo</actor> <actor>Jacqueline Bisset</actor> <writer>Ian Fleming</writer> <writer>Wolf Mankowitz</writer> <writer>Michael Sayers</writer> <producer>Jerry Bresler</producer> <producer>Charles K. Country: | I was looking for the same thing. I guess we are out of luck. At least for now. I downloaded TVG from SourceForge.net: TVG and configured it to read my tvguide.xml that I use for mediaportal. If I want to see additional information not shown in MP's tvguide, I just launch TVG. Its not the best solution but it works and was easy to setup. |
