Have you thought about allowing your installer to download from URL (maybe to a temp directory and then delete after sucessful finish)?

After all you have a couple of the necessary installer .mpi files on your website.

EDIT: Are the .mpi files suppose to download as .zip files then we are suppose to rename the .zip to .mpi or is it just my computer?

I tried to install the austrialian logos. I downloaded that file from your website and then the installer also on the website. I renamed the .zip file to .mpi and then ran the installer. I choose Install Package and selected "Australian_TV_Logos.mpi" and got the following error: http://img57.imageshack.us/my.php?im...ererrorjj2.png I choose continue but it didn't appear to perform any action, so I don't know what happened.

When I looked at the .mpi (actually downloaded as .zip) file I looked at the file list in the installer.xmp file and the first file is:
HTML Code:
<File> <FileName>ABC2.png</FileName> <Type>Thumbs</Type> <SubType>TV\Logos</SubType> <Source>F:\xmp\Australian TV Logos\ABC2.png</Source> <Id>04010</Id> <Option /> </File>
Notice the Option doesn't have a closing /Option plus the slash is in there. Is that correct?

Also where does it state where the files should be installed into? I ask, because I don't have a F: drive mapped on my system.

EDIT: Could the following be the reason for the Option tag with the slash at the end?

HTML Code:
<Option> <BuildFileName /> <ProiectFileName>F:\xmp\xpi\Australian_TV_Logos.xmp</ProiectFileName> <ProiectName>Australian TV Logos</ProiectName> <Author>...</Author> <UpdateURL /> <Version>1.00</Version> </Option>

The *.xmp file is the original project file use to build the package. The <Source> node don't used in the installation process only th file name.
The <Option /> tag is correct.

Usage:

Download the mpi file(Don't rename).
Run MPInstaler.exe (Mediaportal directory)
Select Install package (then the mpi file, Next,Next)
