Default First impression

First off I would like to say this looks very promising.

The PIP was very surprising and nice.

I also liked the mode in my pictures where you see 3 pics at once in the middle (Don't recall the name).

I noticed the refresh rate control option in the settings. Is this an experimental feature or is it planned to remain in MP2?
This is an unbelievable feature, at least for me, where I'm always changing resolutions/refresh rates to suit the video source (PAL/NTSC, SD/HD etc...) to avoid judder.
Does it use powerstrip to change resolution/RR, or directx? (I know there is a refresh rate plugin that uses powerstrip to change the refresh rate, the problem is the new nvidia cards don't support powerstrip).
Is the PixelRatio option from MP1 for non-square pixels going to get in MP-II? If so, will we be able to define different pixel ratios for each refresh rate option?

it is work-in-progress like everything else. but its meant to be a "core-feature".

there is no additional software required.

Mr Hipp is responsible for this feature.
