Default refresh rate feature problem

Hi,

You have missing 50 and 60 Hz in refresh rates. This leads to jerky playback of video material from dvds or tv. Also video material is recognized as 25 Hz but it is in fact 50 Hz after deinterlacing. This can be difficult to solve if you take refresh rate from renderer connection where it is always as before deinterlacing.

Regards
Piotr

It's not going to cause any trouble as you can configure the 50Hz modes to be used with 25Hz material. Same goes for the 30Hz.

It doesn't work, my pal video dvd plays jerky with 25 fps and should in 50 fps. MP2 doesn't change refresh rate of my screen. It only renders frames in rate of incoming video. Since video is recognized as 25 fps it plays 25 fps regardless of refresh rate settings (60 Hz in that case).

Maybe it is because EVR is used as renderer even when I'm on XP so video is not deinterlaced.

Anyway you should use vmr9 on xp. evr is supposed to work properly only on vista. evr uses dxva2 which is available only on vista so on xp evr always uses software mode. For example hardware deinterlacing doesn't work in evr under xp.

I'm not talking about DVD's.
I'm trying regular video files (avi, mpg, mkv).
