fixed Autoplaying CD doesnt prevent standby

MediaPortal Version: MediaPortal.svn / 09.21.2006 / 13.59.Rev10405
Windows Version: Windows XP SP2
CPU Type: Athlon 64 3000+
HDD: Samsung Spinpont 250GB
Motherboard: Asus A8N-E
Motherboard Chipset: Nforce 4
Motherboard Bios:
Video Card: ATi X550
Sound Card: Onboard
1. TV Card: Twinhan Cab CI (2031)
1. TV Card Type: DVB-C
1. TV Card Driver: 1.2.3.8
2. TV Card: Twinhan Cab CI (2031)
2. TV Card Type: DVB-C
2. TV Card Driver: 1.2.3.8
MPEG2 Video Codec: Intervideo
MPEG2 Audio Codec: Intervideo
Satelite/CableTV Provider: TDC
HTPC Case: Noname
Cooling: Thermal Take Sonic Tower
Power Supply: Noname 350+ modded with 92mm Silenx Fan
Remote: MCE 2005
TV: Sony KDF-E50A11E (50" Rear pro)
TV - HTPC Connection: DVI->HDMI

Problem:
1. I start mediaportal
2. I insert an Audio CD
3. The audio CD starts playing ( its set to play without asking first, pretty important as you otherwise need to turn on the TV to start playback )
4. Shortly after MediaPortal(through the PowerScheduler) attempts to go into standby stopping the music:
Windows Media Player pops up a warning asking me whether or not im sure i want to go into standby. If i choose 'yes' it enters standby.

I use the Internal Music Player btw and its set NOT to jump to playing now, so it remains at the Home screen while playing.

Can confirm.
But it doesn't matter if Autoplay is enabled or not.

1. start MP
2. go to myMusic
3. start Music (from cd or hdd)
4. go to homescreen
5. after some minutes powerscheduler shuts down your pc

I had no Windows MediaPlayer pop up. But I had once before and maybe I have already marked the checkbox, to not ask again.

Regards
Ralph

I made a patch for this bug, its in the patch queue:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index...97&atid=647927

The problem is that the NVPPowerScheduler only updates
the shutdown timer when the screen changes, which it
doesnt when you autoplay a CD for example, so the timer
remains activated.

However, i am a little confused as to what is happening in your case ralph, but it seems like you managed to change back to home before the powerscheduler polled the state.

Any chance of the above patch being added to svn anytime soon?

As far as i can tell the problem is fixed now, so i guess its no longer a bug But maybe ralph should also just verify that its working now?
