As mentioned here, I face two other issues, which seem to be related to my Alarm:

After my computer has been woken up by my Alarm (which work ok. i.e. the radio starts at the expected time),

- The monitor is still in sleep mode and it is not possible for me to turn it on at all - even by turning it on and off with the button (when I wake up the computer from standby manually, the monitor is turned on correctly).

- It is not possible for me to send the computer into standby. Since the monitor is not turned on, I cannot say what happens on the GUI. The computer starts going into standby but then hangs. I have to re-start the maching by turning it off with the computer button manually.

I have added the logfile to the pastebin. The only uncommon thing I see (and I am definitely not an expert) are the hundrets of PowerScheduler entries.

Thanks for all your help

G.

Have you tried "Turn monitor/tv on when resuming from standby" option in the config / General? This sends a message to Windows so that it tries to turn display on if the bios / MB is not able to do it for some reason. Worht a try, helps at least my Abit NF7-S (thats what for the option was added by me
