I doubt it very much simply because MediaPortal is open source software and developing hardware costs money.
If I remember correctly MediaPortal 2 is supposed to be based on UPNP/DLNA so when that's ready for release you might be able to use a hardware DLNA box to connect to it, but you could be waiting a while.

after upgrading to MediaPortal 1.3.0.0 there's no fullscreen teletext like in 1.2.3.0 anymore (on my end)...
UPDATE: I found where the problem was. It's a problem between MediaPortal and my STB (SA4250HD). It occurs only when my STB Audio Option is set to ''Dolby Digital''.
