Unfortunately these knock off MCE Remotes don't work like most of the others including the official MSFT remote which sends a USB signal for every single button pushed.

| Yes, he's right. And for those keys that aren't recognized by the USB tester can only be recognized by Vista MCE for some reason. Probably Vista MCE recognizes the corresponding keyboard combinations. So I'm stuck to using the basic buttons like play, stop. Thankfully the info button works and calls out Mediaportal's osd while i'm playing dvds and videos. The back button only brings the menu selection back to the top selection. To exit the current menu to the previous one, I need to press the clear button. |
