Default Zalman HD160Plus (iMon VFD) and MCE remote

Hello,

Not sure whether to post this in the remote or displays, or both.

I got my HTPC now up and running but I have still a few issues controlling it. The case (Zalman HD160Plus) has an iMon VFD and its own remote. I have a genuine MS MCE remote, that I use to control MP.

As the HTPC is not facing the sofa, I am using the IR receiver dongle bundled with the MCE remote, and not the IR receiver on the front panel of the case.

The remote does what it should, but I suspect both IR receivers get inputs from the remote. Also, I am not sure how to setup MP to listen only to one IR receiver.

Apparently the Zalman case's own IR receiver is active when the iMon application is active, and the Imon app is necessary for the Cybermage plugin to allow the VFD to display MP informations. When I installed iMon, it asked me what remote I was using and I specified MS own MCE remote, so the cases receiver seems to be listening to my remote as well.

Any suggestions as to how to sort this out ?

Lorenzo
