Hi,

yes if you select in compress frame, the source DVD. Currently the dvd transocindg is basics i can improve it if this feature is used

hi,
I tried to use this plugin with the new tv server svn (uses new installer - NSIS) but i can't figure out, how to make it work. I installed tv2 plugin first, than client and server plugin, but I can't find the plugin under tv server configuration?

Pls someone can help me,

Hi,
what about DVDs with copy protection?
When I choose DVD in the compress frame while a protected DVD is in the drive MediaPortal freezes.
Any ideas?

edit:
another protected dvd does not freeze mp, I can chosse audio/video files i want to convert but the status shows me -1%. The DVD drive does nearly nothing.
any solution?

I think i should know how the plugin works to get the right information.

No, its a DRM limitation, which you need to find a way around.

There is no software supplied by Mediaportal website to assist in ripping your own protected DVD's, for that you need an external program, which there are a huge amount of available either paid for or free, one of which i pointed you to already.

Hello,

i followed the install instructions and finally copies the files of the zip file for the server to the MP server dir - all files are in the correct place, however it does not appear in TVE3 Server Setup -> Plugins.

could you add date and time (or file name) on "Available resources" list cause I have many manual recording (EPG data is not correct)...
That would really be helpful cause now a list of "manual" (recordings) is displayed so it's hard to select correct recording...
