Excellent stuff I have been waiting for something like this for a while. So much so I even wrote a plugin. I am using piba installation and it works well.
To answer your questions:
-Galaxy GeForce 8600GT
-I can confirm that it does have two options with the correct resolution
-CPU usage 5%

Excellent work piba I do hope this gets picked up by the developers.

Works well on my laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon X700 PCIe 128MB VRAM. I can finally use my 1280x1024 secondary screen for MP and IRC/surf from my primary screen.

Starts just nicely as fullscreen on secondary monitor.

Amazing

That's what i was waiting for a looong time.

I am using an GeForce 6600 GT, primary display 1248x1024, secondary 1024x768.
Tested only with PM3 until now.

When MP is started on secondary display, a part on the bottom of MP is missing.
After pressing ALT+Enter twice all is fine.

Thanks a lot! This is something i have been missing from MP.

Seems to work perfect on my vista,radeon x1600.primary display 1650x1280, secondary 1024x768.

Yes, this works - thanks! Finally able to use MP on secondary display (TV) and do other stuff on primary (LCD). GeForce 7800GT and WinXP in use.

Hopefully this will be merged soon to SVN.

Hi !
many thanks for this patch! I dont need to "clone" my displays.

It works fine for ATI radeon X1600 with 800x600 Touchscreen and TV: 1280x720
sometimes i need to press ALT+Enter twice, but then it works perferkt!

@sosh i am currently trying to solve the problem of the skin having the wrong size on startup..

@Everybody this patch already is partially in the current SVN version !

using startup parameters /screen=1 /fullscreen /skin="BlueTwo wide" it should work. The config option int the XML file changed to a other location tho. and the screen selection in the config tool is not there yet.

please report any problems with it in this thread. or contact me on IRC

@huma2000 don't know what you are referring to .. ? tho dont think changing the screen resolution while MP is running will be supported anytime soon.. if that is what you mean. ?
