It wont be in MediaPortal configuration but in the TVServer console.

I have this card but I've not been able to get it to work yet. This is not MediaPortal's fault, but rather the crappy drivers. Windows Vista detects 3 new hardware components in Device Manager, and the main one, "PCI ATSC" keeps saying "No drivers are currently installed for this device". I've tried drivers on the CD and from the product page with no luck.

Anyhow, this card should work with MediaPortal. It's identical to the KWorld PlusTV HD PCI 120 and another user on this thread has managed to get that card working with MediaPortal.

ok thanks for the help so far i think im getting somewhere.im using myslq and gotten media portal tv server to reconize the 3 devices atsc,anolog and radio . now when i go to click on scan for channels i get a message saying
"card not found,please make sure card is present before scanning" i then looked intpo device manager and just like you it says no drivers installed? i have installed them and ran the card with the included software it came with . any advice on this? once again ty for the info and help i was about to give up .

I'm getting the same problem but haven't had time to resolve it. The problem is Windows is replacing the driver with it's own version, so you need to somehow force the right driver on to the device.

i already tried that but give it a shot. i'm on vista, you may have more luck on XP. this teaches me for buying a cheap-ass china-man atsc card off ebay. i shoulda gotten a Hauppauge USB ATSC tuner instead...

yea i know the feeling . i did have it working great on vista mce but i was having problems with games on vista. it has a great picture, and im using a antenna just want to get it working on xp due to no mc i need media portal .

just curious have u tried to uninstall all the drivers/software -turn off computer- remove card reboot and install software and drivers -reboot then install the card ?

You had this card working on MCE? How'd you manage that? I'm on Vista, and I'm getting the "No drivers installed for this device" problem that you're getting on XP. Which drivers did you use to get it working on Vista? The ones on the CD or from the website?

hi, i just used the install cd . i dont know if they showed up or not . i just installed the drivers and software off the cd and it worked.
