I installed DVB fix and everything needed for MP. With this SVN (I didn't test it with earlier ones) aspect ration works well, but the stream from TV Server is not good, it has a very low framerate - if I hit Shift+! it shows me sometimes VRM9 about 25 fps. I only noticed stuttering in german programs Sat1/Pro7/Kabel1, others like RTL, ARD and ZDF works well. I'm sure its a TV Server problem, I tried several codecs, sometimes Video/Audio became asynchron, some were a little bit better, but it always stutter. AND: If I record TV and open the TS stream in VLC Player, it stutters, too. If I use DVB-Prog to receive DVB-S everything is smooth and good. => It has to be a TV Server problem. Any Idea what I could do??? Wich log files maybe interesting? |

| TsWriter.log would show if there is dropped data on the stream.

Country: | I deleted all old logs, start MP and TV Server, switched to Channel Pro7, then to Kabel1 (both stutter). Now the logs are not so big, i attached them. |

I can't understand it, too. Do you think, that this is a driver problem? The driver works with DVB Prog. I reinstalled TV Server, deleted old configs and database and did channel scan - still stuttering... It looks like there are frames missing in stream EDIT: It is not only stuttering on pro7 (sat1, kabel1) channels, BBC World or CNBC Europe stutters too EDIT2: A recorded TS file stutters on my other computer too... Country: | Hey, i've got the same problem with my system. I use the new RC since yesterday and some tv channels are stottering. The same channels like arneman. Before yesterday i used the old 0.2.x Version and all was perfect. I use DVB-T and the Hauppauge Nova-T card. Thanks for your help |

Country: | I think I found the problem with german tv channels like Pro7, Sat1, Kabel1 and N24 : If you pause live TV for 1 second and then you continue playing, the stuttering is gone - the buffer of tv stream seems to be too small. I think I will post this in the actual svn thread, to help the development team. Would be nice, if you, Chucky, could confirm that it helps you to avoid stuttering Sometimes I have stuttering if I play normal videos (no tv stream), then I just stop playing (stop graph) and then start it again.... Not nice, but stuttering is gone Last edited by arneman; 2008-07-13 at 22:46.. |

Country: | hmm...now the problem is gone. It seems that mediaportal must run hot to work without problems ![]() But the last problem i've got is that somethimes there is no audi. If i spool backward and press play the sound would be there again. Very funny ![]() I think this problems would be fixed until the release of mp 1.0 is there |
