Hi,

I've searched the forum for "black screen recording" but found no suitable remedies for my problem. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

This is my problem: when I instruct MP to record a show at a certain time, the show gets recorded alright, but I have no sound, no image, so time-shifting doesn't seem possible. I cannot control MP while a show is being recorded, let alone do some timeshifting.

I would like to be able to record a show and start watching even when the show has not finished yet. What am I doing wrong?
