Default Which card for the UK?

I am converting my kitchen PC into a media portal, which would be a good card to go for to receive freeview?

Would that be a dvb-t?

Which one do you think? I have PCI slots.

Many thanks.

Ok cool, looks good, I guess it interfaces with MediaPortal with no problems?

Excellent stuff. Soon, i'll be able to record programmes all over the house, there'll be no excuses!

Just out of interest, I guess this card doesn't support radio?

And...as i'm adding it to a full size PC tower, the half-height PCI card won't do me any favours as it's not going into a standard MCE type case...I may have to go USB...

Would recommend seeing if you can get a DVB-T card with a usb receiver for the remote, will let you use with MP, but needs to be configured.

Also consider Hauppage as remote supported

Otherwise recommend good old MS european remote for fully supported functionality with no setup.

Good luck with your setup.

Hauppauge are good, should be easy to get over there too. The TwinTuner model would be a nice addition
