cpu usage when MediaPortal is activ

Hi!
What could be wrong in my MediaPortal. When MediaPortal window is unactiv the cpu usage is about less than 10 %, but when the MediaPortal window is activ the usage jump into 90 %?!?
I have updated everythin I can thing of but nothing seems to work.
Do you have any suggestions?

You could try a simpler skin, like Simple MP - MediaPortal Forum

is this with the default skin? cause my video card does not meet required minimums but everything works fine. as Spragleknas has said, try a simple skin
