My Vista is configured to go into "Power Save=standby" not hibernate when I press the power button on my computer case (same for my MCE remote's PC button). When I press the button the system goes into standby, however, with the screen already blanked out I can here the MP Watchdog notifing me, that MP crashed. Accordingly when I resume from standby I see the MP watchdog telling me that MP crashed and I have to restart MP. I already tried VMR9 and EVR, tried different sound and video codecs as well as disabling plugins. However the behaviour doesn't change. I would actually like to provide the developers in here some logs/feedback (if they like) however don't know which logs to provide for them to provide reasonable information. Any advice on above is much appreciated. wupperi |

Country: | Thanks for replying - I know I could get rid of the watchdog. However the real issue is that MP crashes at all when going into standby. In fact it shouldn't crash but remain in memory, so when I return from standby it should just be there and not to be restarted. |
