When playing movies in MP, like Dix/xvid etc., where does MP search for subs. (which folder), and what type of subs does it recognice?

Is there a way to pre-define sub folder(s)?

Like:
...\subs\
..\ <-same folder as movie
C:\subs\ ....etc

Anybody who can tell me how to set-up FFDShow for subs (hot to choose sub-folder - not "static" ie. [movie folder]\subs --- not like C:\subs]

Sorry about the poor explanation.... hope you understand anyway.

I believe the default is in the same folder as the movie with the same filename with the exception of the extension...of course!

Yep. That's right.

In my movies folder I've got

La Haine.avi
La Haine.srt

Subtitles then show no probs.

Send a message via ICQ to cruzlee
Default Select language.

How do I select a sub from a *.sub file in a specific language? Because there is no OSD in MP I cannot select anything. Or am I totally oblivious to something here?

In other words: I have a divx, with a sub+idx. In this sub there are 4 subtracks. I want the 3d to play.
