When you select the video, there is no response from Media Portal. Thank you a lot for your time and work! This is the best Media center ever!!! ![]() |

Country: | I can also verify that DTS isn't working in 0.2.3 final, where it was before in previous builds up to 0.2.3. I'm running Spdifer to pass through DTS to my receiver. When attempting to play a mkv video in MP with DTS audio, the file doesn't play whatsoever. |

Country: | Hehe - well spoken ![]() AC3 and DTS are working nicely here. I guess it's a problem with graph building which can be solved by changing merits. Please check with graphedit when DTS fails for you. |

| Portal Member | DTS works in RC3 and the full release here. But i have other problems with using SPDIF passtrough. With ffdshow i get jitter/frameskipping of about 6 (even with the MPA codec), not if i pass DTS trough the filter reprocessing it to Dolby though .However back to your problem... Did you install the final 2.3 in a new directory or over the existing RC3 directory? I have had really strange things happen with the sound doing that in previous releases so i always start from scratch with a new MP directory now. Regads Duke |

Country: | It's seems any DTS passthrough isn't working, whether it be via ac3filter or spdifer. If I play the videos directly using Windows Media Player, the audio is output as it should be. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling MP 0.2.3.0, later SVN builds, as well as ac3filter and spdifer individually, still nothing. It's unfortunate, but I think I'm going to have to downgrade to pre 0.2.3.0. Last edited by jraneses; 2007-11-28 at 04:30. |

Country: | Ill test DTS later and check the graph if its working/not working. Tested DTS with a .mkv file and it worked flawlessly. Attached the graph. Last edited by Darre; 2007-11-28 at 11:28. |

Country: | I having the same problem. Mkvs with DTS dont work for me in 0.2.3 Final. I had to revert back to RC3, It seems like the last SVN build that work (for me) is MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot: 10-22-2007 17-56h - Revision:16322. After that revision in RC3, I get the same problem, wont play mkvs with dts. |

Country: | Eabin: REV 16359ff - added method to just reconnect the pins of a given filter. this can be used to renegotiate media types (e.g. if type changed from mpeg1 -> AC3) dman_lfc: REV 16330 - Forced the use of AC3Filter with WMV videos when chosen as a post processor. Could you please test REV 16350 to find out which of these changes broke it for your specific codec combination? |

Country: | rtv Just tryed REV 16350 and it broke DTS playback. Whats actually happens when i try to play the mkv is that the screen goes black a fraction of a second, then back to MP. Installed REV 16322 and its working fine again. Mediaportal log: VideoPlayer9: Failed to render file -> vmr9 Im using vista 32 and ffdshow_rev1632_20071123_clsid_sse_icl10. Abit an-m2hd, sound through spdif. |
