Dvb mpeg blocks in windows but not in linux - Solved!

I'm running media portal with windows xp and a Technotrend Budget 1500 dvb-c card. All channels work fine under linux but under windows i get loads of "mpeg blocks" on many channels. Is there any way to fix this? I have tried to use a signal amplifier (which supports the frequencies of my provider) but with no luck. These problems are not limited to media portal but are also present in technotrends dvb software.

Does anyone have the same problem?
Has anyone been able to fix this?

"Mantelströmfilter" (swedish)
"Sheath Current Filter" (english)
"Filtre de courant de gaine" (french)
could solve the problems, and it did. It costs about 8 euro and is the best dvb investment i have ever made!
In sweden these are available through Kjell & Company for 79 spänn.
