Hi
Running on Vista Sp1 Ultimate

I'm having problems with DVD-Play and AC3Filter as AudioCodec (With Ms Audio Codec works), I have found the solution and is to remove from "mediaportal.xml" the audio codec "
AC3Filter
"

Then MP does not find a AudioCodec on the mediaportal.xml so it gets the AudioCodec from the registry... And Works..(getting AC3Filter) as the codec..

I have attach both logs, setting Ac3Filter as codec and removing the Audio codec from Mediaportal.xml, I have also add the graph

Thanks
Attached Files
File Type: zip MsVideoWithNoAudioCodec.zip (11.6 KB, 7 views)
File Type: zip MSVideoAndAc3filter.zip (11.8 KB, 8 views)

I have try with previous AC3 version and same problem.. Also with FFdshow Audio codec... The only one working ok (if I set as default) is the mscodec.
The only way to make it work is to remove the defaut audio codec from the mediaportal.xml..

Hi...

Is there any fix for this??

I'm still having the same problem... The only way to fix is to remove the line "
AC3Filter
" on the DVD section
