Default Dvico Dual dvb-t won't get a signal on 2nd tuner

Howdy.
I can't get a signal when I try to use the Bluebird tuner on my dvico dual dvb-t card in TVE3. The primary (PCI) tuner works fine.
The card works fine in Fusion HDTV (the app that comes with the card).
When I try to tune channels in the TV Server control panel, I get no signal.
I've tried a few older drivers for the tuner card also. none seem to work.
winders Mediacentre won't detect either tuner at all.

Help! Cheers.

Have you applied the dvbfix and bda fix found here, needs reboot to have effect.

Have Dvico Dual 1 (pci\usb) working here with Mediaportal (have not updated daughters yet).

Good Luck

I'm using windows MCE, so they're not applicable yer?
Both tuners show up in the list in TV setup, but bluebird just won't scan channels (nor tune into a mapped channel either for that matter)

I'll initiate the channel scan once my tv recording's finished and browse through the logs.

Thanks for your quick response btw.

As far as i know it applies to MCE (Vista not needed) as well, as no native support for multiple tuners.

I disagree - dual tuners used to work in M$ mediacentre and picture-in-picture works right now in the FusionHDTV app. Both tuners *are* detected by TVE3. (just one won't get a signal).

what fusion/dvico driver version are you running?

Cheers,

See tv.log - attached.
I've run the channel scanner on the bluebird tuner first.
then, around 22:19:37 I run the channel scanner with the pci tuner.
It looks like the bluebird driver is reporting back 0 signal strength

bluebird (USB) tuner
2007-10-31 22:14:59.328125 [8]: card: Tuner locked:False signal strength:100 signal quality:0

PCI tuner:

Just installed TVServer version 16361 and RC3 on my daughters pc, with updates using driver 3.63.01

Both tuners work fine, slower channel changes than my T500, but that is a known problem with Dvico.

Should show up as 4 cards 2 DVB and 2 Analogue.

Bye

Why the minus on stregth with the Dvico I do not know, i think that is what is screwing up your TV.

Why my XP version works i have not the foggiest idea, unless its the fact that WinfastDTV is also installed.

Sorry to have not been more help as run out of ideas, i know the dvico cards were quite popular in Oz when i first started on this forum (which made me get one), but it was so slow to change channel compared to my previous lifeview DVB card, thats why i end up at hauppauge.

You may want to read a bit more about Dvico http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/ne...rs-t20175.html

Cheers

hrmm. thanks.
I guess that means i have to just sit and wait til they fix their drivers, then.

I assume that the FusionHDTV app doesn't access the drivers in the same way as MP, cos both cards work fine in it.
