Default Finding channels - satellite and antenna

Hi,
I have been spending some hours now trying to find channels, but I am unable to get either antenna signals or signals from my satellite settop-box.

I have tried fooling around with the "add channel" interface, but to no avail.

- Is there a scan all channels button, and can channels be set manually?
- What channel would my satellite signals from the box be on? (or what range if I have tro try several)...
- Is there any documentation available on these issues - I have read forum and googled away, but not found much help

You mentioned satellite set top box? Do you have a tv capture card in your computer or are you feeding signal from set top box to a video capture card.
If the former go Setup menu->Television->Cature card->Auto tune.
If the latter I think you can only feed in the signal you have tuned on your Set top box.
