Full Screen TV is low res with lots of aliasing.. (Nova-T)

Synopsis::

Hi, this one is causing me some grief..

The fullscreen TV Image appears to be lower resolution then it should be, it seems the source 'image' is not the full 1024*576 that it should be, this is causing blocky artefacts, and terrible aliasing of lines..
If I select the 'original aspect' ratio, I get a black border around the image, but all the aliasing is there.. selecting 'normal' aspect ratio, it is then full screen, but the artefacts are obviously magnified.

Using WINTV2000 full screen, it is as expected, no aliasing, and much cleaner.. the difference is very noticeable.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

Firstly, the video will only be 720x576 so unless you stretch it, its not going to be fullscreen. If you use HDTV, that still isnt a native resolution, 720p and 1080i dont fit that res.

Seeing as your using the latest Nova-T drivers that should be ok as I dont have any problems with them.

I realise that the 'source' is only 720*576, and it's being scaled up, but this was as though it was 360 * 288 and being scaled up.. the aliasing and lack of detail was profound, especially since I am running this on a Projector with a 108" screen..

I have found a solution, I uninstalled the 'latest' NVidia drivers, and installed the previous 81.xx ones I had, and this has fixed it.. !!, just in time for the lads who are coming around for some World Cup action this afternoon..
