Default geforce 6200 DVD playback via component

So i just got my 6200 GPU and well i cant playback DVD via component, says something about being copy righted DVD, and cant be playback via component output.

What gives? do i need to go back to a pervious driver version? if so which version?

What player are you using. It sounds like it might be the cause.

It is because DVD's have playback Protection over component so they wont play on a screen with a RES higher than 720x576.

darn, what am i suppose to do now?

i just tried it with HDMI, and it works fine, but media portal's text comes up messed up and the interface is red.

If the problem is due to copy protection on the DVD you could try googling for DVD43 .... :wink:

Just run anyDVD in the background. It removes macrovision protection. I've been happily watching DVDs at 1920 x 1080 for quite some time now.
