hauppauge 150 card reset computer?

I have a following problem for a long time now:

My htpc with MP works just fine all the time except when recording occurs meaning that sometimes during recording my PC just restarts itself and when it boots just continues to record.

In this case I am not able to view first part of the recorded show and this starts to drive me crazy, and what is even worse my wife ;-)

I suspect it has something to do with Hauppauge 150 card i have because this problem only occurs while recording and not when watching recorded shows or dvd, xvid etc. I tried all the versions of MP since 0.1 updated Hauppauge drivers, graphic card drivers, installed all the windows updates...

What is driving me really mad is that it does not happen every time, it is maybe 3 out of 5 times but it makes recording useless..

Anyone having similar problems? Windows logs dont give me anything, just "Windows recovered from serious error" and some scrammbled log...
