hauppauge 34 button remote problems

Video Card Driver: latest drivers
Video Card Resolution: 1280 x 1024
Video Render Type: VMR9
TV Card: Hauppauge WinTV PVR 250 model 981 with silver 35 button remote control
TV Card Type: hardware
TV Card Driver: latest drivers

Synopsis:
When watching tv, the ch+, ch-, vol+ and vol- buttons of my remote just wind in time and don't change the channel and volume. I'm stuck with this behaviour since I got MediaPortal and couldn't find an answer. Except this, MP is just what I searched. It seems that the layer 1 buttons are always executed, because if i change the ch+ layer 1 action to ACTION_NEXT_CHANNEL, i can change the channel in live tv. Any suggestions?

Hi,

you can switch the behaviour of these four buttons with the FUNC button (between MUTE and FULL).
