Hauppauge PVR-500 crashes computer - Page 2

I've got the exact same AV8 3rd-eye board as you.
And a pvr-500 on the way.
I hope it all works out.
Ive been reading horror storries about them not working correctly.

I just got a pvr-500 and installed it in my Abit av8-3.
Works damn fine.
Both tuners.

Every once in a while the 2nd/recording tuner goes static.
even records static.
im still working on it.

But it does seem to work well with the Av8
I did have to move my wireless lan card to another slot as it was causing my lan card to lock up.

Would be really great!

Its somewhat difficult to find people confirming bigs with mulitple analog tuners.
