Hauppauge remote and DirectTV? Help needed....

I give up.. Can someone with a Hauppauge WinTV_PVR150 with the Ir Blaster and Hauppayge remote tell me in BABY talk, how to set up MP of change channels on my directv box.

I can change to channels using the wintv 2000 software that came with the card. But Freaking MP won't change.
Tell me step by step what to do, what to download, where to install..
Is MCE easier to use?

Hi,

changed your topic. Because you would never find any help with the terminology you have used. Also make sure you describe your problem more detailed, what have you done so far, what do you want to have.

The more detailed you are, the more precise will the answers be!

sorry about that..

Basically, the remote works perfectly with mp. My video, Radio, pictures, etc.
I just can't change the channels on my directv. But the channel changing works with Wintv.. I've been in and out of the remote settings in Mp config. but no change.
