MediaPortal says that there are no filters in the definitions. I am unable to locate the problem. The definition file (CaptureCardDefinitions.xml) is also buggy with this card cause it says: capturename="Nova-DT DVB-T Capture (Dev1 Path0) " devid="vid_2040&pid_9941">, but the real value is:
capturename="Nova-DT DVB-T Capture (Dev1 Path0) " devid="vid_2040&pid_9951">, after I changed the value MediaPortal found the card but configuration.exe reported that it is unable to create graph for this device. I think that must have something in common with what the program says. I hope you get nova-t 500 soon working!
I attach all the MediaPortal logs, if they can help!

Synopsis:: -

I am getting the same/similar problem as ParadiZio.
Looking at ParadiZio's MediaPortal.log I see some lines the same as I am getting. Problem (I believe) is that at DVBGraphBDA:CreateGraph(). the registry key is logged as:
SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\PCI\vid_2040&pid_9951&mi_00\7&1444ac61&4&0000

but should be:
SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\vid_2040&pid_9951&mi_00\7&1444ac61&4&0000

But I can't see how to change this.
