Synopsis::

Hi there
I have a Hauppauge WinTV Primio FM card (Software Encoder, bt878)
Whenever i try to go into the TV configuration it tells me "Unable to create Graph", and in the main program when trying to enter TV mode it gives me the same message. Since support was just added for this card, i'm wondering if i did something wrong.

I'm running the latest official Hauppauge Drivers, and installed the mainconcept encoder as per the Wiki instructions (regsvr32 mceesmpeg.ax)

The Hauppauge software works fine, so i guess it must be something within MP

Btw, the strange thing is that the log says that it doesn't detect the mainconcept mpeg encoder. I put that in a folder on my D: drive, does it matter?

I've downloaded SoftMCE_Encoder_Setup_1_2_24159.exe ... but I cant extract mceesmpeg.ax.

can you help me?

you have to open the setup file with winrar or winzip. then extract the file. it is in this forum

sorry for my poor english, I'm posting from Spain

I have a Hauppauge WinTV Primio FM (Conexant CHIP). Media Portal SW "Cannot Create Graph" with this TVCard.
I tried the solution comment in previous post but mceesmpeg.ax is incompatible with my Hauppauge WinTV Primio FM Version.

I have made many tests: I have use HWClear, with or without reboot, put this file in many places (system, system32, WinTV own directory) but any test was successful .

any idea?
