| MediaPortal Version: V1.0.0.0 RC1 MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo Wide Windows Version: XP Pro SP2 CPU Type: Core 2 Duo HDD: 40gb SATA Memory: 2gb Motherboard: Shuttle SG33 Video Card: Intel GMA 3100 Sound Card: Realtek HD Audio TV: Westinghouse 32" LCD TV - HTPC Connection: HDMI I have a Shuttle PC that has HDMI output built in. I have enabled audio via HDMI. While navigating menus, my TV flashes as if the resolution has changed and the it needs to resync. If I disable audio over HDMI, everything works properly. Once I start playing media, everything works properly. I don't know if it correlates with menu sound effects. I also don't know if it's a bug with MP, but the problem only presents it self MP menus and no where else. Any help would be appreciated.

Country: | I've got a Shuttle GS33 as well and have had nothing but problems with the HDMI Audio up until recently. From audio delay to signal interference. However, the new intel driver just fixed everything. You may want to give it a try. Intel® G33 Express Chipset - Intel® G33 Express Chipset support Good luck. Jim |

| I updated the video driver as suggested. It has not fixed the issue. I did a little more testing. When I use the mouse scroll wheel to navigate up and down, there is not a problem. When I click on an item, the screen will flash. I have submitted a bug report which can be found here: HDMI Audio Cause TV to Resync

Country: | Not sure then. Sorry. The only real difference between our 2 systems is that I'm running Vista Ultimate SP1 vs your XP2 and our TV's. The only other recommendation I'd have is to check the cable. The audio could be bleeding over into the video maybe? Good luck, Jim |
