help! no sound in live tv

hello there i've just bought an Terratec Cinergy 400 PCI

Live TV is fine... picture is there at least..

but i cant get any sound.

i have putted it to every input on my soundcard.

Line In
Stereo Mix
Aux
Mono Mix an so forth

whats the problem ??

i can also not use TimeShift ?

why and recording doesnt work either... ?

please help...

Media Portal is the coolest program ever and i need to get it fully functional soon.

To your problem, if it's new and you just installed it.
Which input does your tv card use to provide sound to the software that came with it?

Mine uses AUX and it was not enabled under Sound Options by default in Windows and I had to Unmute it to enable it.

Probably not the problem but always check the simplest things first, I say.

EDIT: I finally got mine figured out. 1.1.1 and VRM9 Renderless did it for me (tv video)

somehow it disabled Line In on my card whenever started...

i reinstalled the program and now it works like a charm

and that solved my exact same problem, gotta love forums and search function
