Hide Menu Bar & Task Bar in MP

This is and has always been the biggest pain in the butt for me with mp and i have spent so much time tryin 2 sort it so im gonna ask n i realise its a small thing but i can't get rid of the menu bar at the top of my screen in full screen mode??? and the only way i can get rid of the task bar is to auto hide it??

call me a clown if u wish but help wld be appreciated

just guessing cause i'm at work, but in the configuration option in the General part there are tick boxes, i think if you do run media portal in fullscreen and also hide the baloon tips or whatever its called you should see any windows type effects in MP

wasn't that as i already had it ticked....all it was in the end was that i was using the full screen icon in the top left of the menubar - i.e. the windows function that also contains minimize and exit....i needed to use alt+enter to goto true fullscreen mode

- also got my xp mce remote today and omg how goddarn sweet are they !!!
