Question History Channel HD??

Hi Gents

I have never got history channel hd working, have read and searched for a solution but no fix..

Have tryed several different versions of MP, including clean install many times.
Every other channel is working included HD. The history Ch HD works in firedtv viewer..

Tuning on 1`West, thor 3/5, now running MP RC3, floppydtv S2 on Vista 32bit version.

I am not at home, so sorry for no logs and config info... Just a general check if this is a known problem.

Thanks guys

Not heard of above, and i read most things, maybe check with graphstudio, then which filters are being used when the channel works and compare with MP when its not running.

Check your codecs are fine with Filmerit.
Upload Logs\Pictures etc, use the "Go Advanced" and select the + feature to upload\attach files.

Hallo there.
Same problem as Svendis. Can't get History Channel HD to work. Everything else is running smooth and fine (except from DVB subtitles on all my Swedish HD Channels witch never has worked). Any ideas about this problem?

hi
Having the same problem. I had it working along time a go, about 6month ago. i think this is due to this problem:

TV-server Trouble "symbol rate 30000"

it´s something about that they change the 'symbol rate' to 30000.

Having floppydtv-S2, and these channels working in progdvb.

I can't watch History Channel HD either (logs in Can't watch some channels (no sound / still image) ).

I do find it a bit strange that both TV4HD and Silver HD work without a hitch since they are on the same transponder ( Packages: Canal Digital Nordic - KingOfSat ).

I also have troubles with History Channel HD.
All other HD Channels are perfect (Discovery HD, NGC HD, Eurosport HD).
History channel HD gives me "unable to start graph and timeshift".
I use FloppyDTV DVB-C and with that comes the program FireDTVviewer with that I can watch and hear History HD perfectly. I use the same codecs and renderers with the Viewer and MP RC3.

Have you guys found out anything about this issue?
Maybe this only happens to 1`west tuners??

I`m out of ideas now. Mediaportal is using the same codecs as firedtv..

Default Solved

Hi,
After scanning the channels from my provider (Ziggo) History Channel was present twice. (SD and HD)
I exported the database and edited it (deleted the SD version of History Channel)
After import of the database History Channel HD is perfect.

regards

I think I remember reading about your type of issue with a channel with the same name for both sd and hd quite a long time ago. My problem is unfortunately different though, since here they are properly named as 'History Channel' and 'History Chnl HD'.

Default Problems with History Channel HD & BBC HD

I have the same problems with the following channels:

History Channel HD
BBC HD

They tune in TV-server, but in client the computer hangs...

All others works just great, and with subtitles as well (see No subtitles on HD channels) after using the new tvlibrary.dll.
