| Hello, Wondering if there is a way to get rid of the horizontal banding? I have searched through the forum, and have tried the following: Adjust refresh rate in increments of 30. Adjusted Nvida software setting The only thing that helped just a little was the refresh rate. I should would appreciate any assistance in getting rid of these bands. Thanks Bill 2Gig AMD, 1 Gig RAM, PVR-500MCE, Chaintech 5500 4x AGP card. |

Country: | Do you mean tearing? Enable DirectX Exclusive Mode in MP's config (General section).

| After hours of searching on the internet I now know the proper term for my problem. Hum Bars, it's a group loop problem. I have purchased a 5Mhz - 2.4Ghz ground loop isolation transformer from mcminone.com. Hopefully this will correct the problem. If not I might need to find a S-Video Ground Loop Isoation transformer. The following link has explains hum bars and has a picture of them. http://www.epanorama.net/documents/g...isolation.html Thanks for your help. |
