Maby I'm missing something obvious, but how do I use extra inputs like the RCA plugs for example. normaly the controll would be "select source" or something like that, it there somewhere in mediaportal I go to to do that?

If you are referring to the video capture inputs on your KWorld DVB-T card, then I think that you are out of luck ...

The KWorld uses software encoding and this is not supported in MediaPortal. You would require a hardware encoding card, like one of the Hauppauge ones.

Ok thats a pitty, what would I have to do to make it work if my card was a proper hardware encoding card? I don't see a "My RCA" on the main menu.

I think the input would come up as a seperate input card in Media Portal Setup.

The new TVEngine 3 should have support for software cards at some point. Basically, the Microsoft recording engine that MP uses at the moment only has support for DVB and hardware MPEG cards. The new engine and TV server will eventually be able to support software cards and IPTV input as well as DVB hardware tuners.

I was referring to the composite and S-Video inputs on a DVB-T card that are used for video capture. To the best of my knowledge, nobody has been able to get those inputs to work in MediaPortal on a DVB-T card that does not have a hardware encoder for the analog inputs.

I happy to be proven wrong, though ...

You can access these inputs from MediaPortal Setup -> Television -> Capture Cards -> Edit -> Audio Mapping

OK thanks, I see how it should work (it doesn't work, but that is probably the lack of a hardware encoder. it just says "can not find tuning infomation for xxx")
