TV Card Driver: MPEG2 Video Codec: MPEG2 Audio Codec: Satelite/CableTV Provider: HTPC Case: Cooling: CPU fan / passive on other Power Supply: Remote: TV: Samsung TV - HTPC Connection: Maby I'm missing something obvious, but how do I use extra inputs like the RCA plugs for example. normaly the controll would be "select source" or something like that, it there somewhere in mediaportal I go to to do that? |

Country: | If you are referring to the video capture inputs on your KWorld DVB-T card, then I think that you are out of luck ... The KWorld uses software encoding and this is not supported in MediaPortal. You would require a hardware encoding card, like one of the Hauppauge ones. |

Country: | I think the input would come up as a seperate input card in Media Portal Setup. The new TVEngine 3 should have support for software cards at some point. Basically, the Microsoft recording engine that MP uses at the moment only has support for DVB and hardware MPEG cards. The new engine and TV server will eventually be able to support software cards and IPTV input as well as DVB hardware tuners. |
