Default HVR-1300: Can Media Porta use both DVB-T and Analogue input?

First post here. Hello all.

I have searched around and am pretty sure my question's not been answered. If it has just politely tell me to search harder.

Just bought an HVR-1300 and am hoping to use MP with it. Aim is for two cards, probably just add an Nova-T in a bit, but am short of cash. I'm in the UK with a Sky box so will be using the analogue input for recording that and then the DVB-T for freeview.

Can I have MP set up to do this? I know that it's not a dual tuner card so I can't record analogue whilst watching freeview but will MP schedule both freeview and analogue recordings through one card so I can at least record Sky stuff that's on when I'm at work or in the middle of the night when I don't want to watch other channels.

If not I'm guessing I'll just set up MP for the freeview and then use the Win-TV software scheduler that comes with the card when I want to record something from Sky.

Hope this makes sense.
Joshua

Thanks.

I installed it all last night and was coming to the conclusion myself although still wasn't positive.

Slowly but surely I I'm progessing to a working Media Portal setup. Got a few probs but they're for other threads.
