well how to begin.
media portal is good program nice interface and its open.
but it is stupid program because of the bugs a lot of them.

remote buttons or not single enter it is looping

this program forget everything, not in the begining but later.

If there are too many problems for you then find another program. This is a program that has been supported by developers not getting paid for their time. This program is still in beta stages, not full release. So it is not perfect and has problems.

If you are willing to wait, then... wait and please be nice about it.

If you want to describe problems/bugs then submit your system and fill out the template. If you are having a hard time completing the template - then use the program that does this for you.

If you want to do nothing but complain, we don't want you. Go away! I mean that in the nicest way.

If you want to helpfully provide detailed information that will help the developers (please understand that there are different developers for the different plugins), please do not give so short and brief info that hte support people have to spend alot of there time by trying to understand what your problem is. Again if this is too much trouble for you to spend that much time then again - go away.

You will find helpful people here wanting to help. But you will find that many are stretched to the limit by users just complaining. Again, this program is just starting out and it is free.

You will also find information on these forums but you will have to look for it. Again I'll say this. If this is too much trouble for you - go away.

If I seem too harsh. I will have to apologize. When a computer program is in a beta stage users have to be more understanding and willing to accept problems/bugs. Maybe you didn't understand this and was exppecting software to be released like commercial software that you have paid for and are getting support in a paid manner of support.

I have thought that maybe the entire MediaPortal program maybe best to be shutdown and only open to users that sign-up to accepting the known pitfalls of running software in a beta stage. Then once it becomes more stable then to a wider base.

now my tv doesnt work properly what is that for plugin
it is main for this programs because if no tv card no program no remote
now when i start my tv function the first tv-channel that comes up it is hissing noise whit eruption looping iv changed every f codec i have everyone on my computer but nooooooo you dont want me here.
it want play playlist in musicmode if it is winapm playlist what info do you want
i go to my music and open one or two catalogs whit mp3 files in it but no it shows empty rest works. and by the way it is on harddrive.
i cant configurate internet web browser and no i dont want to use morilla or what is the name never mind.
the msn messenger works but i dont see contacts off or online just when somebody wrtie to me.
mail doesn work because it is pop3 client and no i want to use hotmail i cant configure the e-mail if i write whit http:// the program say ooooo i cant find it
but if i write whit www. it finds it but nothing
i have powerful computer stil is even if it is 3 years old
