| Area: Media Portal Program MediaPortal Version: 0.2.0.0 RC2 (2005-12-16) MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo Windows Version: Windows XP (SP2) .NET CLR Version: 2.0.50727 DirectX Version: 4.09.00.0904 (9.0c) Audio Codec: MPEG/AC3/DTS/LPCM Audio Decoder Video Codec: Mpeg2Dec Filter CPU Type: AMD Athlon XP 1600+ Memory: 511 MB Motherboard: Fx41 (Shuttle Inc) TV Card Model: none TV Card Type: none TV Card Driver: none Video Card Model: Radeon 9800 Pro (128 MB) Video Card Driver: December Catalyst Video Card Resolution: 800x600 Video Render Type: Overlay Audio Card Model: Creative SB Live! Value (WDM) Audio Card Driver: n.a Synopsis:: For some reason when I return from suspend Mediaportal is closed, but it was running before the suspend. Any other programs remain running. This happens whether I use the suspend option from within mediaportal. If I use the shutdown-> suspend option from the windows start menu then it works fine. Is there any way to ensure mediaportal doesn't close when using it's own menu option? |

Country: | This is a bug with the MP suspend option. Smirnuff was working on it before he left the project and no-one else has picked it up yet. In the mean time, the only real alternative is to set PowerScheduler to suspend MP after being idle in the home screen. now if you want MP to suspend you simply leave it in the home screen and after the period you set it will suspend. I actually like this method better, it's less keypresses ![]() |
