Hi,

if I remember correctly I heard about this issue once in a while, but not lately. Unfortunately I do not remember what caused the problem. My guess is a bad codec / filter. Its not a really good idea to use codec packs. They often install unnecessary filters. Try using the MP test tool. This will export the direct show graph. This could give us a clue about the issue.

Flip.

Hi,

please give it another try. We need a log with the issue occurring. So do not only launch and close MP. Try playing a video and wait for a skip.

Thanks,
Flip.
