Anyway, I have been using MP RC1for a few months now with fairly good success. I chased the SVN releases along to SVN 19311 which i did to get the Svideo input of my tuner card working. All was going resonable well except for the occasional MP crash when watching a movie every now and then. never consistent etc. When MP1 RC2 was released i decided to install it as a catchup and maybe fix a few of the odd problems i had noticed over time. All seems to be working fine except for the HD FTA channels which are now jerky in playback and have no sound or just static noise as the video frames stutter along. If I change channel to a SD digital channel the sound and picture is fine. But if I change back to a HD channel the problem comes back. I am using the default MPA and MPV codecs as I have always done. I have tried the MS codec as well but i still have the same problem. Has anyone else esperienced this problem? Can anyone suggest settings that I may need to look at? For reference I manually uninstalled the MP1 RC1 version before installing the MP1 RC2 version, which I recall was suggested by someone on the forum as the cleanest way to go about it. I hope that someone can help me on this, as I hate to go through all the effort to revert back to the earlier RC1 release. Thanks for your time and help. Pete |

| Hi i'm getting something similar, however mine seems to fail when i change from a HD channel back to SD and also seemed to be cyberlink audio codec based. i havent had much time to test MPA codec but it seemed not to suffer with the issues that the cyberlink one did. as for the jerky playback on HD, i had it previously but rc2 seemed to cure it. so opposite to you ![]() once i get a second or 2 i will look further into it as there seems to be quite a lot of australian users that suffer with sound dissapearing, having searched the forum.. Thanks Steve
