| MediaPortal Version 0.2.2.0: Win Xp Pro SP2: Mobile Pentium 4 M 2.00GHz: 512 MB: ATI Mobility Radeon 7500: Toshiba Multimedia Center: AC3filter 1.20b: ffdshow 1.0.0.1058: MatroskaSplitter 1.7.121.0: Quicktime Alt. 1.7.8.0: AC3filter 1.20b: Firstly, of course, thanks for a great program! My problem is that mp4 files will not play in MP. I have searched and found various posts regarding the problem, but nothing that will solve it. What I have done: 1. uninstalled all codecs. 2. installed ffdshow 1.0.0.1058 3. installed MatroskaSplitter 1.7.121.0 4. installed Quicktime Alt. 1.7.8.0 5. installed AC3filter 1.20b 6. added .mp4 extension in MP configuration mp4 files will now play in wmp (10) but not in MP. I have tried .mov files and they do play in MP. I appreciate any help. Regards Last edited by sweden; 2007-04-14 at 16:08. Reason: forgot log files |

| After fiddling around for a few hours I got it to work. Apparently MP did not use ffdshow so I reinstalled i once again. This time during setup I chose "no limits" for video decoder and .exe I don't know if that was the trick, but it all works now. |
